Cloid (A.K.A. Rocky) has been with Municipal Light & Power, (ML&P) located in Anchorage, AK since 1984. His career in the combustion turbine industry began as a Journeyman Millwright and spans over 36 years.
His 27 plus years with ML&P have included positions as a Generation Operator/Mechanic advancing to Generation Mechanical Forman and now serving as ML&P’s Maintenance Superintendent. Where Rocky is now responsible for the development of maintenance engineering solutions to correct or improve generation turbine equipment performance, life cycle and reliability. His duties also include scheduling outages at three combustion turbine power generation facilities as well as the oversight of maintenance crews.
Rocky has received formal training in chemical water treatment, as a control room operator and OSHA Safety and EPA Standards.
Rocky has been an active member of CTOTF™ for more than 10 years and has been serving as the Vice Chair for the Siemens (Legacy Class) Combustion Turbine Users Roundtable session held in the Spring.

Robbie has been serving as the Vice Chair for the CTOTF™'s Fall session of the Siemens (Legacy Class) Combustion Turbine Users Roundtable since 2009.

Position Objective: To provide incremental business value to the CTOTF™ membership by facilitating communications, information, and discussion among CTOTF™ members, equipment manufacturers, and service providers for the Siemens (Legacy-Class) combustion turbines and to assist the Siemens Roundtables Chair in planning and conducting the Siemens Combustion Turbine Users Roundtables.

This Roundtable is provided for Member Users, to exchange information towards resolving problems, issues and concerns, pertaining to the Siemens (Legacy Class) of combustion turbines. The Legacy Class of CTs include the Westinghouse 101s, 251(B11/12/G)s, 301s, 401s and 501(A, AA, B & B6)s. Discussion topics for this Roundtable include: Centerline Equipment and Components, Ancillary Systems, Inlets, Exhausts, Controls and Protection, Inlet Air Conditioning and Performance Testing. |
