With over 25 years of electric power industry experience, Ray Deberge currently serves as Superintendent, Technical Support & Operations, Gas Turbine & Renewables Department for Ameren Missouri, a St. Louis, MO based electric and gas utility. In this role, Ray and his staff provide engineering and operational support to 14 plant locations throughout Missouri and Illinois, representing over 3100 Megawatts of peaking generation.
Mr. Deberge holds a Bachelor of Science, Energy Technology from Edison State, with a minor degree in Electric Power Technology, technical diplomas in Electronic Design and Electrical Mechanics, and is an accredited PMI Project Management Professional. Prior to his current technical assignment, Ray served in diverse operational, technical, and management roles including Plant Management, Substation Construction and Maintenance, Project Management, and providing technical support in the protective relaying and control system arena.
Ray has previously served in both Chair and Vice Chair roles within the CTOTF™ and currently also serves as the CTOTF™’s Executive Vice Chair of Program Administration.
In addition to a fully engaged work schedule, Ray enjoys photography, woodworking, motorcycle touring, and travel. Ray is a proud father of three children, and a very proud grandparent!
