John-Erik is the Principal Mechanical Engineer at Braintree Electric’s Norton P. Potter 2 and Thomas A. Watson Generating Stations.

Potter Station is a combined cycle station with an Alstom 11D gas turbine and Worthington steam turbine.

Watson station is a simple cycle plant with 2 Rolls-Royce Trent 60 WLE aero-derivative engines.

He has been working at Braintree for over 20 years and has received his Master’s in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University. Also to his credit he was the lead engineer on the development of the Watson Station.

John-Erik has served as the Vice Chair of the Gen-EI&C (Instrumentaion & Controls) Roundtable since the Spring Forum of 2011.

Position Objective:  To provide incremental business value to the CTOTF™ membership by facilitating communications, information, and discussion among CTOTF™ members, equipment manufacturers, and service providers for the Gen-EI&C (Instrumentation & Controls) Roundtable and to assist the Gen-EI&C Roundtable Chair in planning and conducting the Gen-EI&C Roundtables.
Position:Gen-EI&C (I&C) RT Vice Chair Position Duties and ResponsibilitiesDuties and Responsibilities

This Roundtable is provided for Member Users, to exchange information regarding issues and concerns, associated with the Instrumentation & Controls of a combustion or steam turbine, electric generator or other auxillary and/or ancillary equipment associated with that of an electric power generating facility.

Discussion topics for this forum include: Instrumentation, Controls and Sensors and the Performance and Testing of these systems.
