Borsch is a three-decade veteran of the electric power industry, serving as an engineer, maintenance manager, and plant manager.

Before joining CEM, he was engineering manager for RRI Energy, with responsibility for major maintenance, upgrades, and engineering changes to generation assets in California, Nevada, Texas, Illinois, Mississippi, and Florida.

Currently John, (AKA Jack) serves CTOTF™ as Executive Vice Chair -- Power Systems and too as the Chair of the Industry Issues Roundtable.  He has been an active participant of the CTOTF™ for over 20 years having previously chaired the Siemens Roundtable.

 

Position Objective:  To provide incremental business value to the CTOTF™ membership by facilitating communications, information, and discussion among CTOTF™ members, equipment manufacturers, and service providers for the Industry Issues Roundtable.

Ozzie Lomax

Ozzie is responsible for 15 gas-fired energy centers, generating 3,000 megawatts of energy, as well as the new 15 MW Maryland Heights “Landfill Gas” Energy Center under construction.  He also coordinates the 5 Year Strategic Planning and Operation & Maintenance budget for the Power Operations Division.

Lomax has been with Ameren for 10 years. In this time, he has held other positions of Assistant Plant Manager, Labadie, Manager Strategic Projects, Plant Manager for the Meramec Generation Station.

Prior to his time with Ameren, Lomax spent 22 years at the Kansas City Power & Light Co. in various plant, engineering, and financial leadership positions. He has been involved in launching project management initiatives at both companies.

Currently, Lomax sits on the Southern Illinois University – Carbondale School of Engineering Board and the Southern Illinois University – Edwardsville School of Business Project Management Board where he is an Adjunct professor. Lomax conducts project management training at the professional and university level and is very involved with the Project Management Institute.

Lomax holds a BS degree in Electrical Engineering Technology and an MBA, Project Management concentration from Southern Illinois University.

He is married to Jo Lomax BS Mechanical Engineering and has 2 daughters and 4 grandchildren. His favorite Leadership principles are Perseverance & Accountability.

Ozzie has served as the CTOTF™’s Vice Chair for the Industry Issues Roundtable since the fall of 2011.

This Roundtable is provided for Member Users, to exchange information towards the resolution of problems, issues and concerns, affecting the electric power generation industry.

Discussion topics for this Roundtable include: Human Resources, Fuels and Transportation, Marketing, Insurance, Leadership and Management, Value Assessment, Regulatory Interface(s) and Research and Development.
